Forex Tester allows you to import an unlimited number of currency pairs and years of history data in almost any possible text format (ASCII *.csv, *.txt) and in MetaTrader4 history format (*.hst). We strongly recommend importing 1-minute data for accurate testing (it is possible to import higher timeframes but testing results may not be as good). Forex Tester can import data from any text file, including Metastock text format *.csv, and MetaTrader 4 history format *.hst. The source data should contain bars .

Real time trend indicator can be plotted independently. Historical data is a prerequisite for Forex trading strategy backtesting. Its quality directly influence the reliability of the testing results. The best option is using real market tick data.
